ENVIRONMENTAL ART BY AMBER - NOW EXHIBITING IN THE UK
Welcome to my online art zone. Here is a little about the mood of art I like to indulge myself in. I feel a deep connection to water. The seas, rivers and lakes I am drawn to them all. On a visit to the Alnwick Gardens I visited the water sculpture garden this planted the seed for my show. The sculptures are simple and based on scientific principles or "natures laws" and most importantly for me, water based.
As the world’s climate and environment is in the process of big changes at present the inspiration I got from the water sculptures allowed me to explore these themes. Being able to see and be aware of how I can interact with the power and cycles of nature’s laws is very humbling, especially as the water levels of the world are rising. We realise we are always interacting with the cycles of the world, it could be important to become more aware of weather the way we act in the midst of these cycles is positive or negative.
